Women’s wellness in the workplace: Looking after your staff

With the pandemic increasing mental health concerns, reports have shown that a culture of fear and silence around mental health is costly to employers, with 56% of employers having said they would like to do more to improve staff wellbeing but don’t feel they have the right training or guidance in place to do so.

However, women’s health is unique. Women face many different types of health concerns, both physical and mental, and need different types of education and support.

Employers who take the initiative to provide workplace wellness programs create a more supportive workplace and from a recruitment angle, can seem very valuable to this important segment of workers.

This session will look at the importance of wellness in the workplace, and what wellness initiatives organisations can implement to increase the wellbeing of women in the workplace, as well as the wider workforce.
